(written by my sister who was the recipient)It was relatively easy to assemble on my own - the only bit that was tricky were the little platforms. the secret is to squeeze the clamp thats on the pole together tightly with the platform stuck between while trying to reinsert the screw (it'll make sense once you try it).No hanging plant yet, but the platforms are perfect for cascading plants and are easy to adjust to different heights. I moved the hanging plant hanger to the top myself - managed to force it off the pole and on at the top while it was already in situ. Better make up your mind about that before you put the pole up...I was worried about putting heavy plants on the platforms - but even with ceramic pots and quite large plants, its really solid. Take into account the platforms have a lip around the edge and the bottom of your pot needs to fit inside it - i found the pots with slightly rounded bottoms worked best and make it an even more secure fit.Only issue - if you’re vertically challenged and want a cascading plant up high... watering can be a mission. Luxury problems!May just need to get one for every room to deal with my plant "addiction".Great stand for really high ceilings, a little tricky to put together. However plants look good once they are on it.This really can make your room look different, especially if your like plants. Well worth the money. Be careful when you move the plants, if you haven't fixed it properly to the ceiling.Love it! was looking for a nice plant stand that would not cost 100 bucks. It's a bit pricey though but I love it! Although I would have love another design for the trays, especially the under part.Slightly tricky to screw the pot holders in but everything else was very simple and good value
